Todd Moss is chief operating officer and senior fellow at the Center for Global Development in Washington DC. His research focuses on U.S.-Africa relations, energy policy, and private investment. Todd previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Africa at the U.S. Department of State, and has worked at the World Bank and London School of Economics. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University and the author of numerous articles and books, including African Development: Making Sense of the Issues and Actors (2011) and Oil to Cash: Fighting the Resource Curse with Cash Transfers (2015). Todd is also a novelist for Penguin’s Putnam Books. His international thriller series about State Department crisis manager Judd Ryker includes The Golden Hour (2014), Minute Zero (2015), and Ghosts of Havana (forthcoming 2016).
