Abstract: With the shock of the Fukushima nuclear accident still resonating, the prospects of nuclear power in this century are being re-examined both in the United States and abroad. This issue will be assessed from a variety of perspectives, ranging from economics to non-proliferation, and will focus on the contrasts in 'drivers' (both pro and con) seen in discussions of nuclear power in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
